Disneyland Mom Speaks Out After Being Handcuffed and Accused of Sneaking Children Into Park

A mother arrested at Disneyland wants to tell her side of the story.

On Thursday (September 26), police apprehended a woman after she failed to provide identification when requested.

Jessenia Diaz, 26, has been identified as the individual who was detained.

A video circulating online shows Diaz being escorted off the premises while her two daughters clung to her, crying.

According to Disneyland staff, Diaz tried to enter the park with her children without purchasing tickets. When the Anaheim Police Department (APD) arrived, she reportedly became uncooperative.

Although children under three are admitted free to many Disney parks, Diaz’s children appeared to be older.

Confirming the incident, a Disneyland Resort public affairs spokesperson told The New York Post: “The woman in the video attempted to bring her children into the park without paying for tickets, something she has done before.”

“She was uncooperative with our Security teams, and APD was engaged,” the spokesperson added.

It remains unclear if any charges have been filed, but Diaz is reportedly considering legal action against the California-based resort.

Diaz broke her silence on social media, posting a short clip on TikTok that appears to show her surrounded by park employees and security.

She captioned the video: “Storytime? It sucks social media is full of lies and hate.”

In the comments section, Diaz further stated: “I’ll post the truth i recorded the reason everything posted is full of lies.”

Numerous people have encouraged her to share her version of events.

“I wanna know what happened,” wrote one user, while another said they ‘need to know the story’.

“I need to know what happened so bad,” echoed another TikTok user.

Other commenters shared their concerns for Diaz’s children.

One person commented: “Aww I hope your babies are ok, that must have been so traumatic for everyone, especially them.”

“I just wanna know if the girls are okay,” added another.

In a video posted earlier this month on Diaz’s TikTok, her two daughters are seen riding a carousel.

She captioned the post: “The worst way to end the month. Thankfully my daughters are safe. Las amo! I would die if anything ever happened to them.”t.
