Seattle Artist Creates Massive 3D Chess Set. This Looks Fantastic (PICS)

Pamela Mummy is a figurative artist in the Seattle, WA area who has had her work featured in many galleries and exhibitions. The pictures below show her latest brilliant piece of work: a massive 3d chess set.

All the chess pieces are made out of ceramic materials.

The board itself is an acrylic tile covered with glass, while the base is made out of welded steel. The whole unit is very heavy and tough to move around.

According to this post on Reddit created by her son, the whole set took around 6 months to make, and like Pamela’s other works, it will soon be sent to a gallery.

This is a truly wonderful piece of work and we wouldn’t be surprised if someone offered her a very large sum for it!
