People Are Obsessed With This “Mermaid Pillow” That Changes Color

When a journalist stumbled upon a pillow that had reversible sequins live on TV, he had no idea just how massively popular it would prove to be.

Steve Noviello found the Etch-A-Sketch like pillows in Nebraska Furniture Mart and, live on TV, started playing around with its Etch-A-Sketch qualities.

The pillow changes color and is perfect for drawing and writing on, all with a single swipe.

Steve’s video has now been viewed over 29 million times and a new Internet craze for the “Mermaid Pillow” was born.

“We were blown away that many people would stop what they were doing to watch us goofing around with some pillow,” said Steve.

“I’ve been a TV journalist for almost 20 years, I have six Emmys, and the most watched piece of video that I will probably ever produce in my carer is about some pillow.”

Give the people what they want, Steve. And the people want Mermaid Pillows. You can watch the video here.

If you’ve found yourself consumed by desire to own your own Mermaid Pillow, they’re available at Nebraska Furniture Mart with prices starting at $99.99.
