Shocking viral footage shows a preacher for Last Frontier Evangelism interrupting a Santa meet and greet in a mall and telling kids that Santa doesn’t exist.
David Grisham posted the video of his attempt to “reveal the truth” showing him telling the waiting children that “Christmas is about Jesus Christ, and that Jesus died on the cross to pay for their sins.”
“I’m at a mall in Armarillo, Texas, and I’m going to tell the children the truth,” Grisham says into the camera, “There is no Santa Claus.”
Approaching a queue of parents and kids waiting to meet Father Christmas, Grisham repeatedly shouts that Santa isn’t real as some parents look over angrily while others turn their backs to ignore him.
“Jesus was born 2016 years ago in a manger in a small town in Bethlehem, and that’s the truth about Christmas,” Grisham tells the crowd.
“The man you’re going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa. But Santa does not exist.”
As parents start yelling at Grisham to stop, he responds, “Parents, you need to stop lying to your children by telling them Santa Claus is real when in fact, he’s not.”
Grisham then turns the camera to film the shocked and confused young kids.
Despite parents approaching telling the preacher to “chill out” and “stop” repeatedly, Grisham refuses to leave.
The video has since gone viral with nearly 10,000 shares, and many expressing anger and outrage that anyone would behave in such a way.
