This Sushi Master Creates Incredible Art Using Only A Knife And Paper

Akira Nagaya has spent the past 30 years of his life teaching himself one of the most ancient and beautiful arts in the world: Kirie. This ancient practice literally means ‘cut paper’, and involves crafting highly intriciate and delicate designs out of paper.

With only a razor sharp knife, he creates work that is nothing short of amazing.

Akira first started to learn the art of delicate paper cutting through food preparation when he first started working as a sushi chef.
