DVX, the revolutionary creative line of American Standard, has recently revealed a gorgeous line of faucets that will change the way you see plumbing forever.
These stylish taps are created using laser sintering, a cutting-edge 3D printing method that uses a computer-guided laser beam to shape powdered metal.
Pretty enough. But do they work?
Yes! Using computational fluid dynamic technology, water can efficiently flow through the highly stylized and distinctive waterways.
While the printing process takes about 24 hours to finish, the faucets then require sanding and polishing by hand.
These faucets won’t be mass produced anytime soon, but American Standard does hope to streamline the 3D printing process to get to that point.
These fabulous faucets will be available within the next year through an exclusive network of DVX showrooms.
Unfortunately, at an estimated retail price of $12,000 – $20,000, these faucets won’t come cheap.
