Dog Too Injured To Escape Approaching Train Is Saved At The Last Moment By Her Brave Best Friend

When a lost dog found herself injured and alone on train tracks, in Uzhgorod, Ukraine, she must’ve thought it would be her final resting place.

But this wounded pup’s best furry friend found her and stayed by her side for two days, saving her from almost certain death.

Animal rescuers in the nearby town were alerted to two dogs on the railway track and Denis Malafeyev explained: “When we arrived, it turned out that one of the dogs, the female, was injured and couldn’t move.”

The whole time, the male pooch had been protecting his friend.

“The male dog heard the sound of the approaching train, came close to the female dog and laid down next to her. Both of them pushed their heads towards the ground, and let the train pass.”

“The male dog was doing this for two days in a row. He was keeping her warm.”

It turns out the male dog is called Panda, while his lady friend is Lucy. Both dogs have since been treated by vets and returned to their original owners unharmed.
