Chris Evans has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022, and he looks fantastic on the two new covers!
The 41-year-old actor told the magazine that he’s still getting used to his new title and that his younger self would be “pumped” to hear the news.
“It’s something that as I become old and saggy I can look back on and say ‘I remember then…’” Chris said about the title. “I’m lucky to be in the discussion in any capacity.”
“My mom will be so happy,” Chris told People. “She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about.”
Chris is from Boston, and he was asked what he thought was the most enticing aspect of the city.
“So much history there! I love the accent. To me, the accent is home,” he said. “I love the weather. The seasons, the sports teams. But the sexiest thing about Boston… maybe our universities. We’ve got a lot of good schools. Let’s give education a plug, that’s damn sexy.”
When questioned about marriage and parenthood, Chris says it’s “absolutely something I want,” but he doesn’t want to talk about it in public.
“Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends,” he said.
