This Girl With Autism Wouldn’t Speak Out In Class. But When She Sang “Hallelujah”, She Stunned The World.

A 10-year-old girl with autism has wowed the world with her stunning rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”.

Kaylee Rodgers, from Northern Ireland, has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and has been singing in her school’s choir to build her confidence.

The video of Kaylee’s performance was shared on Facebook and received thousands of views in just three days, with people around the world praising Kaylee’s incredible voice.

“For a child who came in P4 and wouldn’t really talk, wouldn’t really read in class, to stand and perform in front of an audience is amazing,” said Kaylee’s principal, Colin Millar, “It takes a lot of effort on Kaylee’s part.”

You can watch Kaylee’s performance in the video below.
