The Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support tweeted “Today the news of our damages reached Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! Through their nonprofit, they are supporting us by replacing the roof at our transitional housing facility & helping us meet our immediate needs. THANK YOU, ARCHEWELL FOUNDATION!”
The shelter assists women and children in abusive environments enabling them to move towards an independent and safe life.
The Archewell Foundation will help repair damages brought on by the storms, including replacement of a damaged roof.
