Following yesterday’s news of chickens growing dinosaur legs, you’d be forgiven for thinking these prehistoric creatures have taken over. But don’t fret, because this incredible image was actually created using a toy dinosaur.
Tickled by the idea of creative projects where people use toys, pets, and unwitting significant others as props to liven up their travel snapshots, photographer Jorge Saenz decided to create #dinodinaseries — documenting a small herd of plastic dinosaur toys-turned-tourists who join him on all his exciting adventures.
Meet Dino, a green Brachiosaurus and his girlfriend Brachy.
Together with their friend Spiny the Spinosaurus, the ancient reptiles have braved fierce rapids, climbed misty mountain ranges, and explored Inca ruins all over South America.
But despite being prehistoric, they’re not averse to exploiting the conveniences of modern life.
Dino enjoys a moment of solitude and serenity at breathtaking Machu Picchu (what a poser).
“This reminds me of the good old days, Brachy.”
“Come on in — the water’s great!”
And at the end of a long journey, Brachy reflects on her adventure as she watches the sunset.
