A white woman was arrested for racially abusing and assaulting a black boy at a pool.
Stephanie Sebby-Strempel, 38, allegedly told a 15-year-old boy and his friends that ‘they did not belong and they had to leave’ a pool in Summerville.
When the teen left the area along with his friends, the woman started using racial slurs and calling them punks.
As she followed the group towards the exit, she suddenly hit the boy in the chest. The 15-year-old was also hit in the face at least twice.
A video was taken of the suspect as she approached the boys. She also hit one of the boys’ phones to stop him from taking a video.

The woman can be seen saying, “‘There are three numbers I can dial. 9-1-1.”
In the incident report made by police, it said, ‘Sebby-Strempel is clearly the aggressor in the assault even going as far as to continue to assault the victim as he was walking away from her.’
As officers served their warrant of arrest, the woman resisted physically. She pushed one detective into a wall and bit another detective’s arm. Both officers suffered minor injuries in the struggle.
The woman was charged with third-degree assault and two counts of assaulting a police officer while resisting arrest.
