First-Grade Teacher Lets Students Draw On Her Dress For Last Day Of School

The last day of school is a special one for students. While most schools allow the students to enjoy their last day with fun and games, it’s the shirt signing tradition that most will go on to remember fondly.

But while most teachers would steer well clear of getting their clothes scribbled all over, first-grade teacher Chris-ShaRee Castlebury was more than happy to partake in the activity, telling her students to draw anything they liked on her dress.

The teacher, who works at Pat Henry Elementary in Lawton, Oklahoma, wanted her first graders’ last day of school to be a particularly special.

Lovingly referring to them as her little “Precious Picassos”, she told TODAY that she didn’t “want to lose the beauty of the kids as they have to grow up and move on from me.”

“It is a memory dress,” she added.

Well done to this cool teacher and her wonderful students. You guys did an awesome job.
