50 Cent has asserted that Diddy sent him an unusual gift following the debut of his revealing new Netflix documentary.
The star of Get Rich or Die Tryin’ has released a new docuseries titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which premiered on Netflix on December 2, causing a worldwide reaction.
This controversial series is said to disclose shocking insights about the once-celebrated rapper, who is currently serving a four-year prison sentence after being convicted of facilitating prostitution.
Diddy, however, was acquitted of charges related to sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and a racketeering conspiracy.
In response to the documentary’s release, 50 Cent claims that Diddy, with whom he hasn’t had the closest relationship, sent him a large bouquet of flowers.

On Instagram, the ‘In Da Club’ artist shared a photo of sunflowers amid a colorful floral arrangement with a personalized card.
He wrote in the caption, “What kinda gay s*** is this? Diddy send me flowers at club 11 LOL why all the four play get busy, you know I’m stupid.”
In another comment, the 50-year-old stated: “A warning, I’m 90’s grimy. you don’t warn me. LOL.”
This ‘warning’ follows as the Diddy documentary has sparked discussions among viewers, consisting of four 60-minute episodes and surprising interviews with the head of Bad Boy Records.
The show promises to reveal damaging unseen footage of the music executive, with Diddy’s team expressing significant displeasure.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, they said: “Netflix’s so-called ‘documentary’ is a shameful hit piece. Today’s GMA teaser confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorized for release.”
“As Netflix and CEO Ted Sarandos know, Mr. Combs has been amassing footage since he was 19 to tell his own story, in his own way.
“It is fundamentally unfair, and illegal, for Netflix to misappropriate that work.
“It is equally staggering that Netflix handed creative control to Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson — a longtime adversary with a personal vendetta who has spent too much time slandering Mr. Combs,” they added.
“Beyond the legal issues, this is a personal breach of trust. Mr. Combs has long respected Ted Sarandos and admired the legacy of [Sarandos’ late father-in-law] Clarence Avant.”

Meanwhile, 50 Cent commented in his statement: “I’ve been committed to real storytelling for years through G-Unit Film & Television.
“I’m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen.”
This documentary follows the dismissal of Diddy’s charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking in a high-profile trial over the summer.
The series allegedly captures the father-of-seven devising a strategy to sway public opinion following his arrest in September 2024.
CNN reported that Diddy’s lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to Netflix regarding the series, and he has successfully filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal for its Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.
