50 Cent’s Controversial Reaction Following Diddy’s Conviction on Multiple Counts in Trafficking Case

50 Cent has sparked controversy with his reaction to the recent guilty verdict against Diddy, who was convicted on two out of five charges in a sex trafficking and prostitution case.

After a two-month-long trial, the New York jury delivered their decision on Wednesday (July 2) concerning the high-profile case involving the disgraced rapper.

The charges against Combs included racketeering conspiracy and multiple counts of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The five counts included in the indictment were:

The jury found Combs guilty of two counts related to transportation to engage in prostitution. However, he was acquitted of two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy.

50 Cent, known for his long-standing rivalry with Combs, quickly took to Instagram to express his thoughts on the verdict.

Their feud, which has been fueled by disputes over artist contracts and competing vodka brands, prompted 50 Cent to voice his opinion without delay.

Accompanying an AI-generated image of himself, 50 Cent commented: “Diddy beat the Feds that boy a bad man! beat the Rico, he the Gay John Gotti.”

John Gotti, an infamous American mob boss, was convicted in 1992 of multiple crimes, including five murders, conspiracy, racketeering, and more. He received a life sentence and passed away in 2002 at the age of 61.

Cassie Ventura’s legal team has also issued a statement in the wake of the verdict.

Cassie, who was in a long-term relationship with Combs and testified in the trial while pregnant, recounted her experiences of alleged abuse and ‘freak off’ parties involving Combs.

After the jury’s decision, Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas H Wigdor, told Sky News: “This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023.”

“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.”

“By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat – with no reservation – that we believe and support our client, who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.”
