‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Actor Tyler Sanders Died From Fentanyl

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed that Tyler Sanders, star of the hit show 911: Lone Star, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose.

The 18-year-old actor, who had recently been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his role in the Prime Video series Just Add Magic: Mystery, had been actively posting on social media in the days leading up to his death. His autopsy results revealed the cause of death to be fentanyl toxicity.

The rookie was found dead on June 16 in his Los Angeles home.

According to those involved in the investigation of the death, the individual had a prior record of substance abuse; police allegedly discovered a plastic straw and white powder in the area of the fatality.

The Medical Examiner’s report has revealed Tyler told a friend in text messages the night prior to his death that he was using fentanyl.

According to the report, Tyler did not respond to any phone calls afterwards and had a history of past drug abuse, including heroin, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms, and Xanax.

When discovered, the unresponsive Tyler was in his own home and apparent illicit drugs were found in the bathroom.
