Debra Messing Says ‘Goodbye’ to Twitter Following Elon Musk Acquisition

Debra Messing, one of Hollywood’s most active Democrat cheerleaders and super-spreaders of fake news against conservatives, has said “goodbye” to Twitter and appears to have deleted her account less than a week before the midterm elections and following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the social media platform.

Debra Messing’s Twitter account was no longer available as of Wednesday, with a Twitter error notice indicating “Something went wrong.” Messing provided a screenshot of what looks to be her uninstalling the Twitter app from her smartphone in an Instagram stories post.

“YUP. Goodbye Twitter. Instagram I’m all in,” her post stated.

Messing asked fellow Democrats in April to stay on Twitter until after the November midterm elections, apparently anticipating that a Democratic Twitter exodus over Musk’s takeover would further damage the party’s already bleak prognosis for the midterms.

Her departure from Twitter comes amid allegations that she was fed up with President Joe Biden’s failings.

During a White House conference call for celebrity influencers, Messing reportedly displayed her buyer’s remorse by ranting and claimed that she had gotten Biden elected. The left-wing actress also wanted to know why she was being expected to do anything at all, adding that voting seemed pointless.

She then published a statement in which she stated that she still backed Biden.

Debra Messing has over 700,000 Twitter followers, thanks to her frequent fury posts against conservatives, particularly former President Donald Trump. The actress used Twitter to threaten Trump with violence and even shared a doctored portrait of Adolf Hitler in an attempt to link Hitler and Trump.

Messing incited an online cancel mob against a stand-up comedian who was scheduled to attend on a tour to entertain US military overseas. She falsely accused comedian Derek Richards of being “anti-vax” and “anti-LGBTQI,” as well as of supporting a government insurrection.

After Musk finalized his $44 billion buyout of Twitter last week, there has been a mass flight of Hollywood elites. Shonda Rhimes, Tea Leoni, Ken Olin of NBC’s This Is Us, Brian Koppelman of Showtime’s Billions, and Alex Winter of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure are among those who have left the show.
