Bryan Johnson, a millionaire who has committed to an unconventional and costly strategy to reverse his biological age, has openly discussed his plans to ‘de-age’ his penis as part of a broader $2 million annual biohacking regimen.
The 46-year-old entrepreneur is undergoing a rigorous and experimental medical program aimed at rejuvenating every part of his body, including some unconventional areas such as his penis. Johnson emphasizes the importance of this, as he seeks to maintain every aspect of his youth.
In his quest, Johnson is not just focusing on common signs of aging like wrinkles or saggy skin; he has a unique approach when it comes to his sexual health. He has incorporated what he refers to as ‘shock-focused shockwave therapy’ where a technician uses a wand to deliver acoustic waves to his penis. This method, according to Johnson, stimulates healing and rejuvenation by creating micro-injuries that promote regeneration.
Discussing the specifics on Steven Bartlett’s podcast, The Diary of A CEO, Johnson explained that this technique is akin to undergoing a workout, wherein the stress applied helps in rebuilding and strengthening the tissues.
Moreover, Johnson has taken his followers on a detailed journey through his healthcare regimen via a YouTube video, where he visits his doctor to evaluate the condition of his penis, assessing various parameters including his semen quality and urination speed.
Johnson’s results were impressive, as he scored in the top percentile across all tests, including his total sperm count which stood at 141 million – well above the ‘normal’ range defined as 39 million and above. His doctor noted that these results would be typical for an 18-year-old, indicating significant success in his rejuvenation efforts.
Aside from shock therapy, Johnson credits his robust sexual health to several other factors including regular sleep, a balanced diet, and consistent exercise. He also uses Tadalafil, a medication typically prescribed for erectile dysfunction, which he says helps mitigate natural bladder enlargement associated with aging.
Johnson stresses the importance of sleep in maintaining sexual health, noting a direct correlation between poor sleep and reduced nocturnal erections. “I know when I don’t get good sleep, my nighttime erections are just wiped out and so is my excitement for life, so sleep is really important,” he shared.
While Johnson advocates for methods like focused shock wave therapy and medications to assist others facing similar issues, he advises consulting with a medical professional, acknowledging that he himself is not one.
