Man’s excruciatingly slow torture method deemed ‘most cruel death in history’

Many people are remarking that only a ‘true maniac’ could have orchestrated the horrendous death suffered by a Hungarian rebel in the 16th century.

It has been labeled as the ‘cruelest death’ in recorded history.

While there are numerous gruesome incidents vying for this title, this particular one might indeed be the worst.

György Dózsa, born in 1470, was a Hungarian man who became a significant thorn in the side of the Kingdom of Hungary’s rulers.

Dózsa is most famous for leading a peasant revolt against the kingdom’s nobility during the reign of King Vladislaus II of Hungary.

He was ultimately captured and subjected to torture, with those in power seemingly intent on making an extreme example out of him.

The grim details of his torture were recently brought to light on the YouTube channel Dark History.

“This is probably the cruelest death in the history of mankind,” the narrator said.

“He was forced to sit naked on a [smoldering] glowing iron throne, and a glowing iron crown was placed on his head.

“He had to then hold a glowing scepter to ridicule his ambition to become king.”

If that wasn’t horrific enough, the torturers then compounded his suffering with additional cruelty.

“Nine of his previously starved fellow rebels were led in front of this throne,” the narrator continued.

“The executioners then took a pair of tongs from the fire and stabbed them into his skin. After they had torn his flesh, the remaining rebels were ordered to swallow the meat.

“Those who refused were simply dismembered while those who obeyed were released.”

This entire ordeal appears to be a period of unrelenting horror.

Adding to the misery, historical accounts suggest that Dózsa’s death was prolonged, drawing out his suffering.

Viewers expressed their horror and sympathy, reflecting on the terrible fate he endured.

“Bro went through heartbreak, betrayal, grief, unfathomable pain and anger just in that execution,” one person said.

“And we wonder why aliens don’t introduce themselves to us,” one user wrote.

“It’s wild to think humans are capable of such things. Torture like this can only be carried out by a true maniac,” another commented.

“No matter how corrupt, how cruel, how unfair a regime is, there are always those that profit from it, and they are willing to do things like this for it,” added another.
