Blake Lively unveils risqué cake for son’s first birthday, prompting fans to say it ‘won’t age well’

Blake Lively opted for a unique design for her son’s first birthday cake, sparking mixed reactions among fans.

The Green Lantern star has been married to her former co-star Ryan Reynolds for over a decade. Together, they have four children: James, Inez, Betty, and Olin.

Their youngest, Olin, was born in February of last year. Initially, the couple kept the baby’s name and gender private, but Reynolds eventually disclosed the name at the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine on July 22. He later shared the baby’s gender in an Instagram video.

Currently, Lively is promoting her latest film, It Ends With Us, based on Colleen Hoover’s popular novel. She also shared some updates about Olin.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and Friends, Lively, known for her baking skills, revealed the cake she made for Olin’s first birthday. Instead of a traditional design featuring giraffes, unicorns, or Disney characters, she crafted a boob cake.

“My birthday cakes always have a little bit of a sense of humor,” she said. “For my baby, I just did a giant set of t*ts, which I feel like will haunt him for life.”

“But, what do they want at one? He can’t declare what he wants. So, boobs!” she added.

“I’ll show you a picture after, they’re pretty amazing,” she clarified, “Of the cake, not of mine…Also amazing though.”

Lively’s humorous yet unconventional boob cake has divided fans online. Some find it hilarious, while others believe she might regret it later.

One Reddit user commented, “Someone needs to stop her because at best she’s sharing weird stories like this and at worst she’s ruining a person’s entire career. And I mean those birthday pictures are not going to age well.”

Another user added, “Blake, when everyone asked you to stop talking about your hair care line, it wasn’t an invitation to share this.”

“Okay but like why is this a thing we have to know,” another chimed in.

However, some fans are defending Lively’s cake, calling it ‘hilarious.’

On BBC Radio 2’s Instagram post of the interview, one user commented, “I don’t know how you would watch this and not like her. She sounds hilarious.”

Another wrote, “Hey that’s all my son wanted at one!! Great idea. I love her so much.”

“I wanna see the cake now I’m curious lol,” another joked.

Lively’s press tour for It Ends With Us has faced its own set of challenges, with rumors of feuds and disappointment regarding her handling of the film’s subject matter affecting its reception.
