Recent research has identified the country with the largest average penis size globally.
While it’s a common saying that size isn’t everything, curiosity about which country boasts the most impressive average size persists.
Although everyone’s body is unique, the subject continues to intrigue many.
Recently, a surgeon and sexual health expert discussed which body part might indicate penis size.
Surprisingly, it’s not the hands or feet.
Dr. Rena Malik addressed this topic on the Diary of a CEO podcast, debunking the myth that men with larger feet have larger penises.
“There’s one study — it’s a Japanese study where they looked at only Japanese men so there are some limitations — but they measured all these body parts and penile length and they found was that nose length was correlated with penile length, not hand length or foot,” she stated.
Additional research now suggests that geographic location might correlate with size.
Data comparing length to location has shown that different parts of the world have varying average sizes.
The ranking, compiled by WorldData.com, places Ecuador at the top with an average size of 6.93 inches when erect.
Cameroon follows at 6.56 inches, and Bolivia at 6.5 inches.
The United States ranks 60th, with an average size of 5.4 inches, slightly ahead of the UK, which averages 5.2 inches.
In Europe, the Netherlands boasts the largest average at 6.24 inches, followed by France at 6.2 inches, and Italy at exactly six inches.
Cambodia has the shortest average, at just under four inches.
NowPatient, an online pharmacy, noted that the study relied on ‘self-reported data,’ introducing the possibility of inaccuracies in measurements.
They clarified: “It’s important to note that the original study relied on self-reported data, so it is entirely possible that plenty of the respondents were a little generous with their member measurements.
“That being said, this can give us a basic idea of average sizes around the world, and ultimately, the average size across the entire population.”
WorldData.com also provided measurement guidelines, stating: “In principle, the length is always measured on the upper side from the root of the shaft to the tip of the glans. If there is a fat pad above the root, this may be slightly pressed in during measurement.
“To measure the circumference, one usually takes the circumference at the root. In some studies, the circumference of the glans was measured instead, which is why this information would be very contradictory and was therefore not included in the evaluation.”
