Drone Operator Captures $40,000,000 in Cybertrucks Inside Tesla Gigafactory

A drone enthusiast has navigated his device into a Tesla Gigafactory, capturing footage of what is reported to be $40,000,000 worth of Cybertrucks.

Brad Sloan shared the video on YouTube, revealing hundreds of these vehicles positioned outside the factory. According to SupercarBlondie, the footage showcases an incredible $40,000,000 in vehicles.

Production of the Cybertruck appears to have significantly increased, following some initial delays when the vehicles were first announced.

Initially, Cybertruck production was intended to begin in late 2021 but was postponed to 2022.

Elon Musk, Tesla’s owner and founder, later extended the timeline into 2023, stating in January that full volume production of the Cybertruck would commence this year.

Musk has consistently attributed the delay to Tesla’s efforts to meet the demand for its popular Model 3 and Model Y.

Currently, it seems there’s a substantial number of Cybertrucks in production, as evidenced by the numerous trucks observed at the Texas factory.

“Had a rain delay this morning so late shooting footage,” Sloan mentioned on YouTube. “Plenty of car carriers loading up Tesla vehicles today. Lots of casting stacking up on the east side. South extension busy as ever.”

On another note, Joe Tegtmeyer, another drone operator, shared footage on Wednesday (28 August) showing more Cybertrucks meticulously arranged.

“More @Cybertruck formations at Giga Texas this morning… looks like they are ready for battle!” he wrote.

Viewers quickly responded to the footage. One commented: “Indeed, the gigafactory is scaling up operations, as it appears to me. What is the rate per day or per week?”

Another added: “Are they shipping these out at the same rate or is lot inventory growing?”

A third inquired: “Do you keep track of how many you’ve seen in the lots since the launch? Any idea what percentage have been beasts? Looking at your pictures it seems like these lots are increasingly more full with inventory. Does that mean more people are ordering?”

Another viewer praised: “Whoever is in charge of lining these Cybertrucks up is killin it!! Thank you for the amazing pics!”

Since its market debut in November 2023, the Cybertruck has faced numerous complaints from drivers.

One owner has even accused Tesla of ‘rushing out’ Cybertrucks, alleging they malfunction at an ‘astonishing rate’.

Earlier this year, a California-based owner shared their experience in a thread titled “Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes).” They reported issues with the Cybertruck almost immediately after purchasing it.

“[I] made it 1 mile down road, started getting steering error, flashing red screen, pulled off side of highway now the truck is dead and I’m waiting for a tow truck,” they wrote.

The owner continued, “Dealer couldn’t do anything for me. It was great for 5 minutes.. tried everything, restarting, screen is stuck black and keeps beeping. Tesla really rushed these trucks out, what a nightmare.”
