Netflix’s latest series leaves viewers ‘hooked’ and craving ‘more’ after binging

A new Netflix series has captivated viewers, leading many to express a desire for more episodes after binge-watching the entire series in one sitting.

In a post on the Netflix Bangers Facebook group, a user shared an image from the series and solicited opinions from the community.

The consensus among viewers was overwhelmingly positive, with hundreds flocking to the comments section to commend the show.

Many fans confessed that they wished for “more episodes” after completing all six in a single sitting.

Currently topping the charts on Netflix, the show is a murder mystery thriller featuring Nicole Kidman.

The plot centers around a wedding that goes horribly wrong just hours before the ceremony.

The series follows Amelia Sacks, portrayed by Eve Hewson, who is set to marry into one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families.

However, the wedding takes a dark turn when her maid of honor is found murdered.

Nicole Kidman plays Amelia’s mother-in-law, Greer Garrison Winbury, who is married to Tag Winbury, a role taken on by Liev Schreiber.

Following the discovery of Merritt’s death, the affluent family members become prime suspects.

“The Perfect Couple is a murder mystery set over the Fourth of July weekend on the island of Nantucket,” revealed showrunner Jenna Lamia.

“It is juicy, elegant, tense, and a little bit sensual. It is my favorite kind of show to watch; a thriller with multiple love stories embedded in the narrative.”

The Perfect Couple, which draws its storyline from Elin Hilderbrand’s book, consists of six episodes and has sparked widespread discussion online.

One Facebook user commented: “Loved it. Didn’t go long enough. Really enjoyed it.”

Another added: “Was fantastic! Great writing and acting! Looooove Nicole!”

A third viewer noted: “Loved it but wish there was more of it lol.”

A fourth commented: “Loved it and am watching it for the second time.”

One viewer likened the series to Big Little Lies, stating: “The Perfect Couple on Netflix is another entry in the distressed Nicole Kidman genre with an all new wig, an all new loser husband and annoying kids and an all new dead body.”

“They made this for me and you know what, I enjoyed every minute of it. It’s soapy and while it isn’t groundbreaking, it’s VERY entertaining.”

Another mentioned they had binged the entire series in one sitting, with one remarking: “I watched the whole lot in one night …. Whoops so good.”
