Imagine purchasing a house only to discover a hidden safe that could be straight out of a horror film.
If you’re familiar with the psychological thriller Split, starring James McAvoy, or numerous other horror films, you’ll know that any hidden passages, rooms, or locked cupboards large enough to hold a person are usually ominous.
Therefore, when a TikToker came across a massive locked safe, she decided to call the police out of fear of what might be inside.
TikToker Tiffany Ma from LA shared on her page that she and her partner bought a house at an auction with the intention of renovating it and making it profitable.
However, shortly after entering the house, they encountered a 4,000lb safe.
Unable to open it despite using various tools, she hired a contractor to drill into the safe to gain access.
Upon discovering what was inside, Tiffany promptly decided to call the police.
In the footage, Tiffany mentions that it took ‘hours’ to open the safe and that the contents were ‘insane’.
“We found some heirlooms like an engagement ring, a bunch of photos that could definitely be used as blackmail,” she said. “A ton of rare bills and old coins that are probably worth more than a Birkin and even a WW2 dagger that was for the bad guys [Nazis] […] But honestly, the craziest thing we found I’m not even allowed to tell you guys because we had to get the police involved.”
Additionally, they found a photo album with a lock of hair inside it, but that was in the garage, not the safe.
Tiffany asked her followers to guess what she found and promised to like the comment with the closest guess. Naturally, it didn’t take long for TikTok users to respond.

One user speculated: “Judging by the uniform pictures and the dagger, I’m guessing it’s a gun. Whoever lived there was probably former military.”
“I’m assuming something illegal,” another wrote.
A third commented: “Grenades? In my dad’s house, they had undetonated grenades in the basement from when grandpa served.”
A fourth user said: “They most likely found a gun.”
Although Tiffany’s like cannot be found, she teased: “Okay y’all are soo soo close to guessing what it is.”
So, what do you think it was?
