North West, Daughter of Kanye and Kim Kardashian, Discloses Her Public Alias

North West, the eldest child of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, has shared that she uses a pseudonym when she is out with friends, though she may change it soon.

Despite her ambitions to take over Yeezy and Skims and her announcement of a debut album at just 10 years old, North West enjoys maintaining a level of anonymity. In a discussion with Interview Magazine alongside her mother, North spoke about the impact of having renowned parents.

She expressed her feelings about paparazzi, stating, “I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do. When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’ If I’m ready, if I’m not tired, if my outfit’s good, I’m like, ‘Okay, I could take a picture.'”

North also revealed that when she is out with friends, she uses a fake name.

When asked about adopting a fake name, North replied, “I have one.”

She shared that she goes by ‘Katie Johnson’ while hanging out at places like Sky Zone, a trampoline park, with her friends. However, she mentioned that she is considering changing it.

She elaborated, “When I look in the mirror for a long time, I’m like, ‘I do not look like a Katie.’ And then I was like, ‘Okay, I got to change my name.’ So I’m telling y’all now.”

Her next alias remains a mystery, but North did use a different name during a live performance with her father.

In February, North joined Kanye on stage to perform a track from his album Vultures 1.

The song, “Talking,” released by Ye and Ty Dollar $ign under the name ¥$, marked North’s rapping debut. She performed her verse live during a show in Paris, rapping: “It’s your bestie, Miss Miss Westie / Don’t try to test me / It’s gonna get messy.”

At the Paris performance, North also announced that she has been working on her own album.
