Pamela Anderson has addressed Liam Neeson’s compliments about her, sharing her thoughts on why he is ‘the perfect gentleman’ to collaborate with.
Earlier this year, the iconic actors reunited for the filming of a new version of the classic cop comedy The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! – the 1988 original featured Leslie Nielsen.
It didn’t take long for Love Actually star Neeson to express his admiration for Anderson, describing her as ‘terrific’ to work alongside.

In the forthcoming The Naked Gun, which is anticipated to be released in 2025, Neeson assumes the role of Drebin Jr., presumably the son of Frank Drebin from the 1988 film.
Anderson’s role has not yet been revealed to the public, but it’s certain she shares several scenes with Neeson, who discussed his experience working with the Baywatch star in an interview with People.
Neeson first mentioned he is ‘madly in love with’ Anderson.
The 72-year-old continued: “She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”
He elaborated that she has ‘no huge ego’ and arrives to ‘do the work.’ Moreover, he found her ‘so easy to work with’ and ‘funny,’ adding, “She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
Anderson has since replied to his comments.
Anderson commended Neeson as an actor who ‘brings out the best in you,’ doing so ‘with respect, kindness and depth of experience.’
The 57-year-old noted that Neeson ‘sincerely looked after’ her, recounting instances where he ‘wrapped his coat around [her] when [she] was cold,’ concluding he is the ‘perfect gentleman.’
She added: “It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
Despite Neeson’s initial doubts about starring in a comedy, questioning whether he can ‘carry it or not,’ Anderson quickly offered reassuring words.
The actor described Neeson as ‘humble’ and confessed: “It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together.”
The reboot is based on an original story by Seth MacFarlane, with the screenplay co-written by Akiva Schaffer, Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, Mark Hentemann, and Alec Sulkin. Schaffer directed the film, while MacFarlane and Erica Huggins served as producers.
The Naked Gun is anticipated to be released by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 2025.
