Many individuals around the world would likely do almost anything to wed former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson. However, there seems to be some competition, as one fan has seemingly achieved just that.
The most surprising aspect is that Tomlinson appears to have been unaware of the event!
This unusual marriage story unfolded while Tomlinson was touring with his ‘Faith In The Future’ album earlier this year, performing at various venues and interacting with fans globally.
While in Jakarta, the ‘Bigger Than Me’ artist encountered his supposed future wife, though at the time, she was just another enthusiastic fan to him.
Unbeknownst to Tomlinson, the fan was actually a TikToker with the username ‘@ladycryalot’, who came with a plan.
The fan provided details on TikTok about the encounter, stating: “So I just got back from ‘Faith in the Future’ in Jakarta, and I lost my voice because I was having fun, I was having so much fun.”
“And I went there as a single woman, right? I don’t have any boyfriend, I don’t have any fiancée or something like that, but I got back from there as a married woman.”
“I’m a married woman. I’m married to Louis Tomlinson. I’m his lawfully wedded wife,” she continued.
This leaves the question: how did she manage it?
As it turns out, the fan claims the document Tomlinson signed was, in fact, a marriage certificate, which displayed an image of her with Tomlinson.
Tomlinson seemed to understand that the paper wasn’t just any ordinary document, as he inquired: “What’s this, some kind of declaration of marriage, is it?”
Although it wasn’t his ideal scenario for getting married, Tomlinson jokingly signed the document and mentioned that he would need to return to Jakarta more frequently if his ‘wife’ requested it.
The fan elaborated: “I did not go to the meet and greet but my friend did, and my friend asked him ‘are you going to go back to Jakarta’, and he answered ‘if my wife wants to’, after he signed this.”
“I’m his wife, are you kidding me?,” she added.
While the fan was thrilled to call herself Tomlinson’s new wife, it’s important to point out that marriages in Indonesia require an official ceremony to be recognized. So, if there are other fans still hoping for their chance, there could still be hope!
