Pete Davidson had an unexpectedly sharp comeback after Ariana Grande publicly disclosed the size of his penis in a Twitter post.
Celebrity gossip circulates frequently online, but it’s rare for someone with personal ties to the subject to get involved.
Generally, they have a closer relationship that prevents them from hiding behind a screen, but that didn’t stop Grande from revealing apparent secrets when a fan reached out to her online.
The singer’s disclosure came as she released the tracklist for her 2018 album, Sweetener, which included a song titled ‘Pete Davidson’.
Grande and Davidson were dating at the time, and Grande explained: “He’s my fiancé. This is my album. I’m an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn’t for you, that’s OK.”
After the song was revealed, a fan tweeted Grande asking: “How long is Pete.”
The question was about the track but was quickly recognized for its potential misinterpretation.
The fan promptly clarified, tweeting: “OH AS IN THE INTERLUDE NOT AS IN….. ANYWAY.”
Grande found humor in the post and decided to engage by offering an answer about Davidson’s anatomy.
She responded: “Like 10 inches? …. Oh f**k …. I mean … like a lil over a minute.”
Although 10 inches is certainly above average, Grande’s comment might have impressed many people, but not Davidson.
He addressed the situation in a Netflix special in 2020, stating: “I don’t like that she talked all that sh*t for my penis.”
Davidson elaborated on why he was displeased with Grande’s comments, trying to balance the scale by mentioning Ariana’s five-foot-three-inch height.
“Everything is huge to her,” he remarked. “Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis? So that every girl who sees my d**k for the rest of my life is disappointed.”
While size isn’t everything, having someone like Grande set high expectations might lead to surprise if reality doesn’t match.
Despite this, Davidson seems to have his own appeal, as Kim Kardashian, another former girlfriend, has also commented on the comedian’s ‘big d**k energy’.
