Netflix audiences notice significant error in new ’10/10′ movie likened to Die Hard

Two amateur sleuths have captured the internet’s attention after highlighting a noticeable blunder in a recent Netflix release that audiences have been rating highly. Even though this error might slightly tarnish the film’s perfect score, it’s still a must-watch!

The buzz started following the release of Netflix’s new action film featuring Taron Egerton, known for his role in Kingsman, who portrays transportation security agent (TSA) Ethan Kopek. Jason Bateman also stars in the movie as a shadowy figure known as ‘Traveler’, who tries to extort the TSA agent.

Fans have been likening the film to Die Hard, with TikTok user @floridafitbrit being among those singing its praises. But, the TikTok creator, who is a mother-of-two, pointed out a ‘minor continuity error’ despite finding the movie ‘very enjoyable’.

This observation was shared alongside a clip from the movie, titled Carry-On. In the clip, her husband provides commentary as a woman with a baby navigates the airport.

He describes the scene: “Baby – brown hair with booty socks, blue top with reindeer things, mom’s got the beige trench coat”. Moments later, another shot reveals the child looking quite different from just moments before.

The TikToker’s husband exclaims: “Look at that bald a** baby – that’s a different baby. Haired-baby – bald a** baby.” The change is glaringly obvious—what was once a baby with a full head of hair is now bald, but the mother in the scene seems unfazed.

He humorously adds: “That child’s confused because he wasn’t in the last scene,” poking fun at the movie’s direction. The TikTok post has garnered over five million views, entertaining Netflix watchers who spotted the glitch and prompting many to comment.

One viewer commented: “Enjoyed this and never even noticed,” while another said: “for someone who’s so observant , how did i miss this when i watched the movie.”

In her post, @floridafitbrit shared: “My husband caught this while watching and he had me cackling as I secretly recorded. we recommend watching Netflix’s new film Carry-On. very enjoyable especially, if like me, you know that Die Hard IS a Christmas film. Imo its got some serious 90s vibes!!!”

She continued, “Sad to say this is our first Christmas film we’ve watched for the festive season! Geez we’re slackin! We did spot this slight continuity error though and as parents of bald kiddos when they were babies we love to see em!”

She also noted: “Apologies for those who don’t like curse words, I have no idea how to bleep it out.” Despite the film’s oversight in continuity, it continues to receive glowing feedback.
