People Astonished by Message on Trump’s Paper During Tesla Purchase to Back Elon Musk’s ‘Baby’

Internet users have been taken aback after closely examining a piece of paper Donald Trump was holding during a visit to the White House, where he was seen inspecting Elon Musk’s range of Tesla vehicles.

A selection of Tesla models, including electric cars and a Cybertruck, were showcased at the White House on Tuesday, March 11. During this event, Trump expressed his intention to support Musk’s enterprise, referring to it as Musk’s ‘baby’.

The president alleged that the ‘Radical Left’ was boycotting Tesla as part of an effort to ‘attack and do harm to Elon’ amid the company’s stock decline. In response, Trump announced his intention to purchase a ‘brand new Tesla’ to demonstrate his confidence in Musk’s leadership.

In footage captured at the White House, Trump can be seen remarking to reporters about his desire to own one of the vehicles, praising them as ‘great products’. He admired a red Tesla Model S, calling it ‘beautiful’, and expressed surprise at the high-tech interior, stating: “Everything’s computer!”

While these comments drew attention, viewers also noticed Trump was holding a piece of paper with additional details regarding the cars he was examining.

A photographer captured an image of Trump’s documents, revealing a handwritten note listing various Tesla model prices.

The note read:

“Tesla Pricing:

“Full Self Driving:

“Model X – $112,490 (silver)

“CT – $114,000 (Gray)

“Model S – $108,990 (Blue)

“Model Y – $59,990 (Red)”

Additionally, the note contained a line that resembled a sales pitch: “Teslas can be purchased as low as $299/month of $35k. All cars have self driving, just needs to be turned on (fee).”

The detailed breakdown on Trump’s paper left viewers stunned, with one Reddit user commenting: “Jesus. This is one of those pictures you see in history books for all the wrong reasons.”

Another user likened Trump to a ‘literal car salesman’, calling the situation “extraordinary”.

There was also a call from a Reddit user for the president’s ‘impeachment’ for allegedly using ‘official White House press events to do literal advertisements for his billionaire friends’.

Although Trump expressed a desire to ‘pay full price’ for his Tesla, his stance on electric vehicles hasn’t always been consistent. In 2023, he criticized electric cars during a speech in Iowa, stating they ‘don’t go far’ and ‘cost a fortune’.

That same year, he suggested to another audience: “Electric cars are good if you have a towing company.”
