Woman shares how she cleared college debt with staggering sum by posing as a Trump supporter

A woman claims she posed as a Donald Trump MAGA supporter as a strategy to pay off her college debt, and it was successful.

Politics can be quite divisive, and if you are a fervent supporter of any political affiliation, you might end up in the spotlight for various reasons.

For @chckpeasm, this attention translated into significant financial gain.

As a young woman struggling with university expenses, she found a quick way to secure the funds she needed.

She tapped into people’s sense of political allegiance and protection.

Known as Princess Q on X, the woman disclosed her scheme in a tweet, expressing gratitude to MAGA supporters for aiding her education and advancing her career.

She tweeted: “Still a big shoutout to the trump supporters who helped me finish school (debt free), move to Los Angeles, and prove myself in social media and marketing psychology which in turn spearheaded my career.”

So, how did she manage to deceive everyone?

Her story gained traction in 2018 when she tweeted that her parents had ‘cut her off’ and ‘refused to pay her university tuition,’ after she posted about her refusal to hide as a Black Trump supporter.

“I will not hide any longer,” she wrote, along with a photo of herself wearing a Make America Great Again bucket hat. “The left has made us feel as if us black Republicans should hide. But not anymore.”

She explained that her parents disowned her after seeing her social media post and appealed to the online community to help fund her education with a GoFundMe link, saying: “If you find it in your hearts to help this young, black republican pay for school it would be appreciated.”

Also known as Quran, she later revealed the truth to Elle magazine after securing enough funds for her college degree.

She admitted she wasn’t a MAGA supporter and fabricated the story for financial purposes.

If you assumed she only raised a few thousand dollars, you’d be mistaken.

In reality, her ruse was exposed within a day, but not before she amassed ‘in the neighborhood of $150,000’.

Regarding her intentions, she claimed she wanted to highlight the 2018 election and dissuade people from voting Republican.

She said: “Voting is coming up so I just wanted to remind people that Republicans are stupid and shouldn’t hold the majority anymore.

“Minimum wage is pathetically low and it’s not a living wage either so how are we supposed to survive?”

“And then the people who say ‘go to college and get a better job,’ like anyone can afford that, and it won’t guarantee you a job either.”

She mentioned the entire act was meant as a ‘joke,’ as she ‘saw that other black girl that posted about being a black Trump supporter and I wanted to make fun of her’.

Although she claimed to return the money, she later confessed to fabricating that part of the story to avoid potential threats.

She said: “The Trumpies saw my old tweets about Obama and realized maybe I might have been lying. But I was faster and took everything before it could be taken from me.”
