Biohacker investing $2,000,000 annually to ‘achieve immortality’ asserts this common pantry staple surpasses Ozempic

Biohacker Bryan Johnson has highlighted a common kitchen ingredient that he believes can assist in weight loss.

Johnson, who is dedicated to slowing the aging process and reportedly invests $2 million annually to pursue longevity, claims that this pantry staple surpasses Ozempic in aiding weight loss.

Ozempic, approved in the US in 2017 for adults with type 2 diabetes, is not officially sanctioned for weight loss. Nonetheless, it has gained popularity among celebrities for losing weight.

However, Johnson suggests he has found a more accessible and effective alternative.

During a discussion on Derek Munro’s podcast, More Plates, More Dates, Johnson elaborated on his belief that extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is among the ‘most potent whole body foods’ available.

Munro referenced an interview Johnson had with Steven Bartlett on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, pointing out Johnson’s previous claim that extra virgin olive oil is ‘better than Ozempic’ for weight loss.

Elaborating on his remarks, Johnson stated: “I said extra virgin olive oil is better than NR [Nicotinamide Riboside], cold plunge, heat therapy, your favorite podcast, and something else… so I was being cheeky.”

On Twitter, Johnson shared a study indicating that individuals who consumed olive oil regularly over nine weeks lost an average of 2.4lbs more than those who didn’t, while also experiencing lower blood pressure.

Johnson is not alone in incorporating olive oil into his diet. TV host Ryan Seacrest has also mentioned taking a daily shot of olive oil for weight management.

Sports nutritionist Abigail Roberts from Bulk.com emphasized the benefits of extra virgin olive oil to GloucestershireLive, calling it ‘one of the biggest superfoods’.

She explained: “Olive oil aids in weight loss due to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. These fatty acids are known to boost metabolism, curb appetite, and reduce body fat.

“Research has shown that those given extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) lost 80 percent more body fat than those who did not consume EVOO.

“Over time, olive oil continues to positively impact the body, helping to maintain or stabilize weight.”
