Kendra Wilkinson, Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend, reveals unexpected truth about life in Playboy Mansion and ‘sex for money’

Kendra Wilkinson has shared insights into her time at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion, describing the experience as both ‘lame’ and ‘heavenly’.

Playboy began as a men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine in 1953, eventually expanding into a significant empire, including the well-known Playboy Mansion. Since Hugh Hefner’s death in 2017 at 91, the mansion and Hefner’s actions have been increasingly scrutinized.

Former partners, bunnies, and Playmates have since spoken about their experiences, with Hefner facing accusations of drugging, non-consensual filming of sexual acts, and rape.

Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hefner’s former girlfriends, recently spoke about her different experience.

On The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Wilkinson described her time in the mansion as ‘heaven’.

She shared feelings of loneliness and noted that her routine included a lot of exercising, running, visiting the canyon, and attending spin classes.

“All I did was work to and eat, work out, eat. I would be like preparing for the next party or something, ‘What am I going to wear’. That took a week out of the time,” she reflected.

Despite acknowledging the contrasting negative experiences others had, she stated that two realities can coexist.

Wilkinson responded to criticism, particularly about being a mother, by stating, “You know like, people are like how can you say that when you have a daughter. Like I’ve heard people say […] what would you tell your daughter?” She explained that she did what she felt was necessary at the time.

She described the sex as ‘lame’ but emphasized, “I had to survive, I was in survival mode. I chose what I chose. I made the choice to move into the Playboy Mansion, have sex for money with Hugh Hefner and I actually lived an amazing five years of my life. I have no regret.”

Regarding her daughter, Wilkinson said she wouldn’t want her to face the same choices.

She mentioned discussing college with her daughter, reflecting on her own positive yet unconventional experiences at the mansion, and hoped her daughter would have more opportunities.

Wilkinson concluded, “I had to do what I had to do and I have no regrets about that. I honestly cannot say anything bad about my experience living there. My choices were mine.”
