Cassie discloses impact of excessive drug use on her health during Diddy trial ‘freak offs’ allegations

Cassie Ventura has spoken about an incident where she ‘woke up in a hospital’ during her relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, particularly in connection to the alleged ‘freak off’ parties.

On May 12, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking trial commenced in Manhattan federal court. The rapper was previously indicted by a grand jury and arrested in September last year.

The 55-year-old faces charges including racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. He has denied all allegations.

Numerous witnesses have testified, including R&B singer and dancer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura. She previously had a long-term relationship with Combs.

The couple was together for nearly ten years, with Ventura being 19 and Combs 37 when they first met.

Ventura has made serious allegations of rape and abuse while also shedding light on the activities at Combs’ alleged ‘freak off’ parties.

During her testimony on May 15, Combs’ attorney, Anna Estevao, cross-examined Ventura, focusing on the purported drug use in their relationship.

Estevao inquired if the couple ever considered rehab, to which Ventura replied: “Rehab wasn’t really a thing during our relationship.”

Estevao asked: “Were the freak offs an occasion for you to use drugs together?”

Ventura affirmed that they were.

When questioned about attempting to enter a facility called ‘the Golden Door’, Ventura clarified that it was ‘a spa’.

“There was a time I lost all sense of smell and taste and woke up in a hospital with an IV in my arm – I tried then to get help,” she added.

Ventura has also shared how she endured the alleged ‘freak off’ parties.

She explained taking ketamine during these gatherings to dissociate from unwanted sexual activities.

Ventura informed the court about consuming multiple drugs simultaneously and neglecting food and sleep due to these alleged parties.

She further described experiencing gastrointestinal distress, mouth sores, and frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Even with ‘painful’ infections, Ventura alleged that Combs compelled her to participate in the events, which sometimes spanned several days, necessitating massages and IV fluids for recovery.

In court, Ventura stated that when Combs desired a ‘freak-off’, he insisted until it happened.
