Resurfaced footage reveals Donald Trump’s ‘genuine laugh’ and people are in disbelief

A resurfaced moment has unveiled Donald Trump’s laughter, which has taken many on social media by surprise.

Before Donald Trump took office as the 45th and 47th President of the United States, he was known for hosting The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice.

A particular scene from the season five finale of The Celebrity Apprentice has gained traction due to its opening sequence, featuring Trump climbing into a race car with Formula 1 icon Mario Andretti.

“Don’t worry, I won’t mess up your hair,” Andretti quips as he starts the engine.

In this 2012 episode, Trump is seen in the back of a race car as Andretti speeds through New York streets, capturing the future president laughing in the backseat.

Although the scene aired years ago, it is just now catching the attention of some viewers. An X (formerly Twitter) user shared it in March, captioning it: “Good news, I’ve found a Celebrity Apprentice clip that has haunted me for 13 years.”

A viewer on X commented: “The acting was bad but the laugh at the end was real.”

Another person added: “He actually chuckled and gave a genuine smile. I’ve never seen that from him.”

The original poster on X added: “I was just thinking that I don’t think I’ve ever seen him actually laugh.”

Someone else humorously remarked: “Never seen him laugh like that.”

Another observer noted: “Uh, this is actually a big deal. It’s the first clip I’ve ever seen where we actually see him do a real laugh. A human laugh. This is wild.”

In related news, Trump and his former friend Elon Musk had a public disagreement after Musk criticized the president’s ‘big beautiful bill’.

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” Musk expressed on X. “Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”

Trump responded by saying he was ‘very disappointed in [Musk]’, which prompted the tech mogul to make a startling claim on X that Trump is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

It appears Trump was not the only one disappointed with Musk, as Tesla investors began withdrawing their investments.

By the close of trading on Thursday, Musk faced a $34 billion reduction in his net worth, equating to a 14 percent loss.

This financial setback for Musk was recorded as the second-largest loss ever documented in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index of the world’s 500 wealthiest individuals, as reported by the publication.

Tesla’s stock has faced significant volatility amid Musk’s ties to the Trump administration. According to The Independent, the electric vehicle company has experienced a 33 percent decline since Inauguration Day in January.
