Influencer compelled to pay more than $85,000 for corrective surgery after gym incident with bum implants

An influencer recently found herself needing to spend over $85,000 on corrective surgery after experiencing complications with her butt implants.

Chelsea Robinson, who initially traveled from London to the Dominican Republic in 2019 to enhance the look of her backside, faced unexpected challenges post-surgery.

The 29-year-old recounted that while working out at the gym, she felt the implants in her rear ‘come out’ during a squat session.

In an episode of Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection aired on ITV, Chelsea detailed her decision to travel to the Caribbean, believing they excelled in bum implant procedures.

“But then, when I got back from there, I went to the gym. I was squatting in the gym, and I felt something.”

“My leg went all tingly, and I felt something come out. My implant was hanging,” Chelsea, who is also a mother, explained.

To her horror, she realized the implant had dislodged from beneath her muscle, adding to her list of cosmetic surgeries that have cost her approximately $140,000.

She expressed her regret to Olivia about the entire ordeal, labeling it as ‘horrendous’ and wishing she had never undergone the procedure.

“If I knew all the ins and outs, I would have never got the bum implants because that was the worst, absolute worst journey I’ve ever been through, and it wasn’t worth it,” she shared.

Following the incident, Chelsea has had to pay $85,000 to correct the situation.

Despite this harrowing experience, Chelsea remains undeterred from pursuing other plastic surgeries.

She revealed to the Love Island star that she began her journey with cosmetic procedures as a teenager, having undergone four breast augmentations totaling nearly $10,000.

“I was quite eager and as soon as I turned 18, I was booked straight away to get my boobs done,” Chelsea, who transitioned into glamour modeling, explained.

Over time, she opted for further enhancements to achieve a ‘fuller’ and ‘bigger’ look, driven by competition within the modeling field. Her latest surgery involved implants weighing almost 1kg each.

“I kind of fell into lingerie modeling, but I felt like I wasn’t competing with the other glamour models that I was seeing.

“I had no boobs, I had like an A-cup, so I wanted to look like everyone else.”

She continued: “All in all, I’ve definitely spent over £100,000, probably £105,000. It’s been eleven years, and a pricey eleven years.”

Chelsea also expressed discomfort with her pre-surgery appearance, admitting that she felt she looked ‘ugly.’

While looking at old photos, she remarked: “I look so ugly there. There’s just no definition anywhere, there’s no boobs, there’s no bum.”

Reflecting on her extensive journey with cosmetic enhancements, Chelsea suggested the allure of new beauty trends can become addictive.

“There’s always something else you need, you want, or something that could make you look better.

“It’s almost like adrenaline, and I feel like that’s what you’re chasing as well.”
