An influencer has opted to name her newborn son ‘Aquaman,’ inspired by her admiration for the DC Studios film of the same title.
Trisha Paytas has announced that she and her husband are proud to introduce their son, Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, to the world.
It might sound unconventional—no disrespect to baby Aquaman—but the Californian celebrity has, indeed, documented the name Aquaman on her son’s birth certificate.
In response, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has heard about Paytas’ latest child and expressed that he finds the name “cool,” even sharing a few jokes on the matter.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gunn stated: “I saw that, yes. I think that’s cool! I mean, I hope he does okay in school.
“I had a hard time with the last name Gunn, like Tommy Gun, BB Gun, Ray Gun – I’m like, ‘Okay, we get it’.”
He continued with: “Won’t he get made fun of at school? Do kids make fun of kids anymore?”
Hopefully, teasing will not be an issue!
Paytas also has other children named Malibu Barbie and Elvis, and an unusual conspiracy has trailed the 37-year-old.
In 2022, Paytas welcomed her first child, Malibu Barbie, just days after Queen Elizabeth II passed away, sparking jokes about the late monarch’s spirit being reborn in the baby.
These jokes resurfaced when Elvis was born in 2024, coinciding with circulating rumors about the demise of Pope Francis.
However, Pope Francis passed away in April 2025, a full year after Paytas’ second child was born.
This time around, although baby Aquaman was born on July 12, Paytas only shared the news on July 22, the same day Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne passed away.
On Twitter, a user commented: “Trisha Paytas has officially reincarnated 3 people: Queen Elizabeth, Pope Francis, & Ozzy Osbourne, it’s getting scary.”
Another user remarked: “Ozzy Osbourne dead just hours after Trisha Paytas gives birth oh she is NEVER beating the allegations.”
Interestingly, Jason Momoa, who is a fan of the late 76-year-old rocker, attended the band’s final concert earlier this month. The Aquaman actor was spotted in a mosh pit and later met Osbourne.
Osbourne, the renowned heavy metal icon, was laid to rest in Birmingham, England, today.
