Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancée have sparked a buzz on social media with the reveal of her engagement ring. The couple has captured the attention of many due to one surprising detail.
Renowned soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, often hailed as one of the greatest in the sport, made headlines with an announcement that had nothing to do with his career.
Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, are officially engaged. The couple shared their joy with fans through a snapshot on Instagram, where Rodríguez prominently displayed her engagement ring.
In the caption accompanying the post, Rodriguez wrote in Spanish: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
As with most celebrity social media updates, the focus quickly turned to the engagement ring itself.
Social media users expressed their amazement at the sheer size of the ring, which is notably large, even for someone of Ronaldo’s wealth.

Questions have arisen over the years about why Ronaldo hadn’t previously proposed, despite the couple having children and a long-standing relationship.
Ronaldo has previously addressed this, saying: “I always tell her, ‘when we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about.
“It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1,000 per cent sure that it’ll happen.”
Georgina, on the other hand, has humorously mentioned the anticipation around the proposal, noting that her friends have teased her about the wedding date.
She commented: “Since Jennifer Lopez’s song ‘The Ring Or When’ came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me.”
