Lawsuit Alleges Priscilla Presley Removed Life-Support for Daughter Lisa Marie

Priscilla Presley finds herself at the center of a serious accusation involving the death of her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, according to a new lawsuit.

Lisa Marie Presley, the sole offspring of the iconic Elvis Presley, died at 54 years old after experiencing cardiac arrest and being placed in a medically induced coma on January 12, 2023.

Priscilla, now 80, confirmed her daughter’s passing with a heartfelt statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

Before Lisa Marie’s death, Priscilla requested prayers for her and the family during this challenging time.

However, a new lawsuit from Priscilla’s former business partners has surfaced with allegations that she terminated Lisa’s life support in pursuit of controlling the family legacy.

The claim suggests that Priscilla aimed to seize control of her daughter’s trust and Graceland, according to lawsuit documents reviewed by The Post. Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, who lead Priscilla Presley Partners, alleged that Priscilla intended to maintain dominance over these assets.

Graceland, the estate once owned by Elvis, was inherited by Lisa Marie following his death.

The lawsuit also asserts that Priscilla was aware of plans by Lisa Marie to remove her as the trust’s head, leading her to act decisively by allegedly terminating life support shortly after Lisa Marie was hospitalized.

The legal documents state: “Priscilla knew that Lisa’s death neutralized the threat of Lisa’s efforts to have Priscilla removed as the sole trustee of Lisa’s irrevocable life insurance trust, and Priscilla ultimately wanted to control the Promenade Trust and Graceland.

“At her house the following week, Priscilla allegedly exclaimed, ‘I’m the queen. I’m in charge of Graceland’.”

Nevertheless, Priscilla’s legal team has dismissed these allegations as ‘salacious’.

Attorney Marty Singer criticized the lawsuit, labeling it as “one of the most shameful, ridiculous, salacious, and meritless” claims he has encountered, stating, “This is nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an eighty-year-old woman in blatant retaliation for bringing a lawsuit to redress the wrongful conduct of Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, and their co-conspirators.”

Singer further commented: “Accusing a grieving mother of contributing to her daughter’s death is not savvy advocacy; it is malicious character assassination, and should be broadly condemned. These fabricated claims have absolutely no validity and we are confident this case will be dismissed.”

This new legal action follows a prior lawsuit filed by Priscilla, accusing Kruse and others of ‘financially abusing’ her and stealing $1 million.

The latest suit argues that Priscilla was expected to cease using Elvis’s last name after their separation in 1973, while Lisa Marie became the sole heir to his estate in 1993.

It further points out that Priscilla attempted to contest a 2016 trust amendment, which removed her as trustee, following Lisa Marie’s passing.

Lisa Marie’s children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, were designated as co-trustees, with Riley gaining full control after a legal dispute with Priscilla and later announcing plans for foreclosure.

Representatives for Priscilla Presley have been contacted for comments on the matter.
