Ghislaine Maxwell has recently commented on the relationship between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, as questions about their association continue to attract attention during Trump’s presidency.
In 2021, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty by a jury for her role in recruiting teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile.
She was recently interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche regarding Epstein’s criminal activities and the individuals within his network.
During the two-day interview with Blanche at FCI Tallahassee, a low-security women’s prison in Florida, she discussed notable individuals allegedly linked to Epstein, including Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew.
Shortly after the interview, Maxwell was transferred to a minimum-security prison camp located in Bryan, Texas.
The Trump administration has faced criticism over its management of the Epstein investigation, following Trump’s election campaign promise to ‘release the Epstein files’.
However, Trump recently sparked outrage among his supporters by urging people to move on from Epstein. This led to accusations against the president, despite his repeated denials of any misconduct during his friendship with Epstein.
In her interview, Maxwell supported Trump’s claims, stating she never observed him acting inappropriately.
She said: “I actually never saw the president in any type of massage setting.
“I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”
She also clarified that she never heard Epstein or anyone else imply that Trump engaged in inappropriate behavior.
When asked about Epstein’s alleged client list, which conspiracy theorists claim involves high-profile figures in his crimes, Maxwell stated ‘there is no list’.
Maxwell also expressed her disbelief that Epstein died by suicide.
Authorities have reported that Epstein, aged 66, committed suicide after being arrested and while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
There has been widespread skepticism regarding the circumstances of his death.
When questioned, Maxwell stated, “I do not believe he died by suicide, no.”
However, she did not speculate on who might have been responsible for his death.
In response to whether she believed Epstein was killed to silence him, she said, “I do not have any reason to believe that. And I also think it’s ludicrous, because if that… I also happen to think if that is what they wanted, they would’ve had plenty of opportunity when he wasn’t in jail.
“And if they were worried about blackmail or anything from him, he would’ve been a very easy target.”
