Trump Dismisses Contractor Over ‘Severe and Unpleasant’ Issue in Rose Garden Patio

President Donald Trump has encountered a problem with his newly installed lawn at the White House, prompting him to voice his concerns on Truth Social.

Recent renovations at the White House have included updates not only to the state ballroom but also to the gardens. Specifically, a white stone slab has been introduced to the Rose Garden’s lawn. Despite some criticisms likening it to a ‘parking lot,’ Trump maintains that the updates have received ‘great reviews.’

“We’re getting great reviews of the Rose Garden, and we had to do it,” he commented to reporters on Sunday (August 3). He explained, “When we had a press conference, you’d sink into the mud.

“It was grass and it was very wet, always wet and damp and wet, and if it rained it would take three, four, five days to dry out, and we couldn’t use it really for the intended purpose.”

Nevertheless, the renovation hasn’t been entirely smooth. Trump used his social media platform to highlight a flaw in the stonework.

Accompanying security footage of the incident, which depicts two employees maneuvering a plant cart that momentarily falls and then seems to get stuck, Trump wrote: “I used, at the White House, the most beautiful marble and stone available anywhere.

“Surfaces are very important to me as a Builder. As everyone knows, I built many GREAT Buildings, and other things, over the years. At the White House, I am very proud of the beautiful stonework we did in the Rose Garden, in this case, using limestone plus.”

“The Rose Garden is completed, and far more beautiful than anyone ever had in mind when it was conceived of, decades ago,” he added.

Trump then detailed the incident further: “Three days ago, while admiring the stonework, I happened to notice a huge gash in the limestone that extended more than 25 yards long. It was deep and nasty! I started yelling, ‘Who did this, and I want to find out now!’

“I wondered, ‘Was it vandalism or, was it stupidity?’ Lo and behold, because of the fact that we’ve installed the finest security equipment anywhere, they brought back the stupid people, with their boss watching (in sunglasses!).”

He elaborated that the subcontractor was responsible for ‘installing heavy landscaping on a steel cart that was broken and tilting badly, with it rubbing hard against the soft, beautiful stone’.

Trump stated that this incident should have never occurred, and he plans to replace the stone. He intends to ‘charge the contractor, and never let that contractor work at the White House again’, also commending the effectiveness of their video equipment.

This landscaping issue arises amid strange rumors circulating on social media about his purported death over the weekend.
