House Leader Alleges Donald Trump Acted as FBI ‘Informant’ in Epstein Case

A prominent Republican figure has suggested that President Donald Trump served as an ‘FBI informant’ in the case concerning convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Mike Johnson conveyed to CNN that Trump has been ‘misrepresented’ amidst the controversy involving the Epstein files and the mounting calls for the administration to disclose all information related to the case.

Over five months have passed since Attorney General Pam Bondi indicated that the files were awaiting release on her desk. However, the Department of Justice shortly thereafter declared it would not publish any additional files connected to the case, asserting that no such ‘client list’ exists.

Subsequently, the Trump administration reversed its stance, announcing the release of all FBI files, including grand jury testimony.

“It’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion. I can say this, those files were run by the worst scum on Earth,” remarked Trump.

“They were run by (former FBI director James) Comey, they were run by (former US attorney general Merrick) Garland, they were run by (former president Joe) Biden, and all of the people that actually ran the government.

“Those files were run by these people. They were run by my enemy. If there was anything in there, they would have used them for the election.”

In his conversation with CNN, Johnson asserted that Trump had been ‘misrepresented,’ clarifying: “What Trump is referring to is the hoax that the Democrats are using to try to attack him.

“I’ve talked to him about this many times, many times. He is horrified. It’s been misrepresented. He’s not saying that what Epstein did is a hoax. It’s a terrible, unspeakable evil. He believes that himself.

“When he first heard the rumor, he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago. He was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.”

Recently, GOP Representative Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna convened a press conference with Epstein survivors, many of whom had not previously spoken publicly, as they gathered signatures for a bill demanding the Trump team release all Epstein material.

The US House Oversight Committee unveiled 33,295 pages of extensively classified documents, which included flight logs, jail surveillance video, court filings, audio recordings, and emails.

Nonetheless, Democrats argue that the released files offer little new information.

For instance, they did not disclose an alleged ‘client list,’ which the FBI maintains does not exist.
