Charlie Kirk’s shooter was reportedly seen on a university roof before targeting the conservative commentator.
Tragically, Charlie Kirk lost his life during an event at a Utah college on September 10.
Despite the crowded venue, authorities are still unsure about the shooter’s identity, leading to widespread speculation.
President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s passing on social media, while there was still uncertainty regarding his condition at the time.
Given that Kirk’s speech at Utah Valley University was held outdoors with a large audience, numerous videos capturing the assassination from various angles have circulated online.
These recordings have provided authorities with a clearer picture of the shooter’s likely location. Officials suspect the fatal shot originated from the top of the Losee Center, roughly 200 meters away from Kirk’s position.
Alex Jones, known for his conspiracy theories, has posted two videos on his Twitter account that might depict the shooter.
One video captures the scene immediately after the shot, showing what seems to be a figure moving on the rooftop.
The second video features attendees filming prior to the event, capturing what looks like someone on the roof.
The individuals recording claim they saw a person ‘running on the roof’ and moving between different locations.
Initially, officials confirmed the arrest of two suspects related to the shooting but have since released them.
Authorities believe the shooter acted alone and remains at large.
FBI Director Kash Patel tweeted: “The subject in custody has been released after an interrogation by law enforcement. Our investigation continues and we will continue to release information in interest of transparency.”
Another individual detained has been released as officials found ‘no current ties’ to the incident.
In the wake of the tragedy, political figures have paid tribute to Kirk and denounced the shooter.
Trump posted on Truth Social: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.
“He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
Former President Joe Biden also expressed his thoughts: “There is no place in our country for this kind of violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and loved ones.”
