Prime Video series with 90% rating gets significant season four update

Fans of Prime Video are continuing to discover a ‘delightfully dark’ drama featuring Lukas Gage.

Hailing from California, Gage first appeared on TV in the HBO series Enlightened 12 years ago and has gradually become well-known, now being a recognized name.

He has appeared in several popular shows, including another HBO success, Euphoria, and Netflix’s You, so you may have come across him on your screen.

The 30-year-old actor is also preparing to release his memoir titled I Wrote This for Attention.

According to the book’s description, it details “his upbringing in a broken family, struggles with borderline personality disorder and his commitment to always being the centre of attention.”

In the memoir, Gage talks about his marriage to hairstylist and now ex-husband Chris Appleton.

The couple got married in April 2023 after dating for a few months. Their ceremony, officiated by Kim Kardashian, was featured in an episode of Disney+’s The Kardashians. They separated in November after nearly seven months together.

Reflecting on his romantic life, Gage mentioned to Us Weekly that it should not be an “exhibition for the world,” saying: “Maybe for the next one, we’ll just keep it a little more quiet.”

This comes shortly after the creator of another successful HBO series, in which Gage appeared, provided a significant update on the show’s fourth season.

The drama, available on Prime Video through the HBO subscription add-on, boasts a 90 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes over its current three seasons.

Viewers have described it as ‘gripping’ yet sometimes ‘uncomfortable,’ praising the show’s ‘perfect cast.’

Each season takes place in a different luxury resort location, exploring the lives of both guests and hotel staff over a week.

Gage appears as staff member Dillon in the initial set of episodes, which are set on the Hawaiian island.

He gained viral attention for a particular revealing scene with the resort manager in the fourth episode.

The show in question is The White Lotus, created by Mike White.

Its second and third seasons were set in Sicily and Thailand, and the series is expected to return to Europe for its fourth installment.

HBO CEO Casey Bloys has confirmed that the popular series will be filmed in France for its upcoming season, anticipated for release in late 2026.

However, he was reserved on the specifics, telling Deadline at the Emmy Awards in September: “France for sure, but details and location TBD.”

When asked if White was in France working on the new season, Casey replied: “I believe that is the case.”

Previously, White expressed a wish to “get a little bit out of the crashing waves and rocks vernacular” for season four.

This likely rules out the beaches of the French Riviera. Perhaps the French countryside will provide the backdrop. We’ll have to wait and see!

Meanwhile, all three seasons of The White Lotus are currently available for streaming on HBO via Prime Video.

Gage’s memoir, I Wrote This For Attention, is set to be released on October 14.
