KISS Icon Gene Simmons Addresses Car Crash Following Medical Emergency

Gene Simmons humorously admitted he is a ‘horrible driver’ following a ‘fender bender’ on Tuesday, October 7.

The iconic KISS lead vocalist had an accident in Malibu, California, where his car collided with a stationary vehicle. He was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that Simmons had fainted while driving.

Deputies from Lost Hills responded to the site of the crash, which involved a black Lincoln Navigator on the 25600 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Despite the incident, the 76-year-old managed to find humor in the situation and later shared an update with fans on social media.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Simmons said: “Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I’m completely fine.”

“I had a slight fender bender. It happens. Especially to those of us who are horrible drivers. And that’s me. All is well.”

Shannon Tweed, Simmons’ wife, assured fans that the rock legend is now recovering at home.
