Netflix introduces ’10/10′ drama series hailed as ‘utterly gripping TV’

A captivating drama hailed by fans for its compelling narrative and “10/10” conclusion is now available on Netflix.

If you’re feeling let down by Monster: The Ed Gein Story and have already finished that “underrated” sci-fi series, you’re in luck; this could be your next series to dive into.

This particular TV show consists of seven episodes, including a highly acclaimed finale, providing a substantial viewing experience.

Originally airing from 2009 to 2015 on Showtime, it made its Netflix US debut on Tuesday, October 7.

Set in the chaotic emergency department of All Saints’ Hospital in New York City, the dark-comedy drama unfolds.

Edie Falco stars as a seasoned nurse who balances the intense demands of her job with her own personal battles.

Despite her intelligence and empathy, the lead nurse is concealing an addiction to painkillers.

Throughout its seven seasons, the series follows her downward spiral as her addiction tightens its grip.

Each season reveals more about her crumbling life: strained family relationships, distancing from her best friend Dr. O’Hara (played by Eve Best), and professional risks that jeopardize her career.

Will she manage to reclaim her life before it falls apart, as each day brings her closer to losing everything she’s worked for?

The series is called Nurse Jackie, aptly named after the main character, Jackie Peyton.

The ensemble at All Saints includes Merritt Wever from Godless, Peter Facinelli from Twilight, and Paul Schulze from The Sopranos.

Upon noticing its addition to Netflix, fans took to Reddit to express their excitement.

“Finally, Nurse Jackie is on Netflix!” the original poster announced.

“Seven seasons, 80 episodes of thoroughly bingeable, exceptional television. I’ve been waiting a long time for this to stream without ads.”

They advocated for viewers to give it a try, saying: “If you haven’t seen it, you should. Witty dialog, complex storylines, well-developed characters. Incredible acting, especially by Edie Falco and Merritt Wever.”

Others echoed the original poster’s enthusiasm, with one user replying: “I’m so excited! I’ve also been waiting forever to watch this. It will be my first watch.”

“GREAT show! I’ll be watching it again!” another added.

Nobody wants to invest time in a series with a disappointing ending. However, Nurse Jackie promises a fulfilling conclusion, with fans rating it a 10/10.

On Rotten Tomatoes, one viewer remarked: “This final season is absolutely gripping television.”

“I’d rate the finale 10 stars,” another wrote. “It couldn’t end any other way. Bravo!”

“The perfect ending to a perfect series,” another viewer praised. “Beautifully done.”
