Police Visited Mansion Two Months Before 15-Year-Old Found Dead in D4vd Tesla Case

Recent information from a Freedom of Information Request has disclosed that police visited D4vd’s Los Angeles rented mansion two months before a decomposing body was discovered in a Tesla linked to the singer.

Last month, police responded to reports of a foul odor coming from a vehicle at a Hollywood tow yard in Los Angeles.

Upon inspection, authorities made the grim discovery of a decomposing body located in the trunk of the car.

The vehicle was soon identified as being registered to singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.

In a statement, his representative clarified that D4vd “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities”.

The deceased was identified by police as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing since April 2024 when she was just 13.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Rivas’ death is ongoing, with no arrests made thus far.

Between February 2024 and September 2025, D4vd’s manager, John Marshall, reportedly leased a $4.7 million Hollywood home, featuring four bedrooms and four bathrooms, for the artist.

Details acquired by the US Sun through an FOI request indicated a neighbor called 911 on July 20 at 4:38 am due to a ‘public nuisance’.

The LAPD confirmed that officers responded to the Los Angeles property at 8:57 am following complaints about loud music.

Upon arrival, the police noted that the disturbance was already resolved.

A former neighbor of D4vd informed the US Sun that he frequently saw both the singer and Rivas.

“I didn’t know he was a singer, but I knew he had a Tesla as it was always parked outside,” the neighbor stated.

“I’d be in my car and we’d acknowledge each other, say ‘hi’, that was about it, when they were heading to the store or wherever.”

The former neighbor also remarked: “Any time I tried to talk to them, they weren’t very engaging. They kept to themselves.”

The timeline and cause of Rivas’ death have not yet been established. However, law enforcement previously mentioned that they suspect the teenager had been deceased for a lengthy duration.

The LAPD stated, “At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death.”

“Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time,” added the LAPD.
