Trump delivers startling ultimatum to Zelenskyy in intense White House session, reportedly ‘cursed’ and ‘threw maps’

Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly engaged in a heated exchange during a meeting focused on ending the ongoing war.

The confrontation took place at the White House, where US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attempted to discuss a resolution to the conflict with Russia.

Both leaders have expressed a commitment to ongoing discussions aimed at achieving a peaceful end to the war.

However, their meeting on Friday reportedly turned confrontational.

According to the Financial Times, tensions escalated when Trump and Zelensky had a loud disagreement.

Reports suggest that Trump urged Ukraine to agree to Vladimir Putin’s demanding peace terms, which involved Zelensky surrendering the entire Donbas region.

This demand was firmly rejected by Zelensky, and the meeting reportedly saw maps being discarded and a barrage of expletives exchanged between the two leaders.

Trump is said to have warned Zelensky that “Putin will destroy you if he doesn’t concede to these terms.”

This meeting followed Zelensky’s public appeal for Donald Trump to provide more military support to Ukraine in their struggle against Russia.

Zelensky expressed hope that Trump would agree to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles, which have a far greater range than any other missiles currently in Ukraine’s arsenal.

Trump avoided a direct commitment on the provision of these weapons, indicating that discussions were ongoing but expressing a hope that such measures would not be necessary.
