Britney Spears raises concerns among fans with cryptic post about ‘brain damage’

Britney Spears has raised concerns among her fans after a recent social media post where she revisited past injuries. This comes in the wake of comments from her ex-husband and father of her children, Kevin Federline, who has questioned Spears’ mental health.

Federline’s allegations have been consistently refuted by Spears. However, the singer’s own expressions on social media have led her followers to worry.

On October 20, Spears posted a photo of herself on horseback, accompanied by an extensive caption that touched on her physical and mental state.

She wrote: “I had a traumatic experience as some of you know at the end of my book where for 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere… for a person like me who understands the sacredness is god speed… it did more than hurt my body…

“Trust me there’s ALOT I didn’t share in my book and still things at this very moment I’ve kept hidden because its incredibly painful and sad…

“I do feel the logic and mindfulness in my body as ONE was 100 percent murdered and destroyed I couldn’t dance or move for 5 months… anyways I know my post and dancing seemed silly but it made me remember how to fly…”

This statement seems to allude to the controversy Spears generated earlier in 2023 when she shared a series of unusual dancing videos on her social media platforms.

Her caption further continued: “I do feel like my wings were taken away and brain damage happened to me a long time ago 100 percent… I have of course moved on from that troubling time in my life and I’m blessed to be alive…

“I’m showing my back one make up artist said dont you think its too big… people are incredibly cruel… still to this day I haven’t flown like I use to do you think if I go to the Vatican I might find something quite interesting there?”

Spears has been open about her mental health struggles and in 2022 revealed issues with nerve damage and feelings of numbness.

In a video on Instagram, she explained: “I wake up like three times a week in bed and my hands are completely numb … nerves are tiny and it feels like pins and needles from the right side of my body it shoots up to my neck and the part that hurts the worst is my temple on my head … it stings and it’s scary.”

She linked these health challenges to her 2019 stay at a mental health facility, an experience she claims was involuntary during her conservatorship. It is unclear if this experience is what Spears was referring to with the ‘brain damage’ comment.
