Dakota Johnson shares her top red flag in men that may surprise you

Dakota Johnson opened up in a revealing interview with Vogue Germany, where she faced a series of personal questions.

Given that it’s Dakota Johnson, her statements should be taken with a hint of skepticism. This is because she has previously confessed that deceiving the media can be amusing.

In the past, she justified her tendency to stretch the truth by stating, “Sometimes when you’re in a ridiculous situation, you just have to be ridiculous.”

Nevertheless, in this recent interview, Johnson allowed her fans a glimpse into her life.

During a video shared on Vogue Germany’s YouTube page, Johnson was subjected to an array of seemingly random questions while participating in a cover shoot.

One particular question delved into her views on relationships, specifically what she considers a red flag in men.

Admittedly, red flags can vary widely, with some being quite common, while others are more unusual. Johnson’s perspective falls into the latter category.

When asked, she responded, “Men who wear flip flops in public, run.”

Additionally, during the interview, she expressed her indifference towards cologne and scents in general.

She explained, “No, I don’t love it. I have a really specific olfactory situation happening for me with men and women and everyone.”

This interview follows Johnson’s breakup with her long-term boyfriend and fiancé, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, earlier in June of this year.

Shortly after their separation, in July, she was questioned about her preferences in a partner but chose not to mention the flip flops issue.

In a conversation with Today, she remarked, “Just like, not an a**hole.”

Her Materialists co-star Chris Evans, who joined her during the interview, quickly chimed in: “That’s concise. There it is. Nail on the head.”

Although Johnson did not explicitly reference her former partner, some interpreted this as a subtle jab at him.

A source familiar with their relationship troubles at the time shared with the Mail: “Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven’t been able to figure out how to make it official.”

“Breakups aren’t instant, and they continued to break up and make up. Sometimes things would work when they were apart due to work, as absence makes the heart grow fonder, but once reunited, minor disagreements accumulated, showing they were no longer compatible.”
